VENÁ SS26: The journey back to the origin

Dear reader,

When we started thinking about Vená, I kept coming back to one idea: water.

Growing up in Margarita, water is always present. Not just the sea, but the way everything connects through it — the land, the air, the rhythm of the island. It’s something you don’t always notice, but it’s always there.

And the more I thought about it, the more it made sense as the starting point for this collection.

Water is never still. It moves, it adapts, it transforms. It finds its way through everything — even through stone — without losing its essence. There’s something very powerful in that kind of softness.

Vená is inspired by that journey.

From the moment water begins high in the mountains, to the way it travels through the earth, becoming a river, and eventually returning to the sea. It’s a continuous flow that connects everything — origin and destination, past and present.

And in a way, it felt very personal.

Because no matter where we go, we always find ourselves coming back to the island. To Margarita. To what feels like home.

That sense of returning became a big part of Vená.

Not as something nostalgic, but as something natural. Almost inevitable.

When designing the collection, we wanted to capture that movement — pieces that feel fluid, organic, and effortless. Shapes that don’t feel rigid, but instead feel like they are in motion. Like they belong to something alive.

There’s also a very strong sense of femininity in Vená.

Not in an obvious way, but in a more intuitive one. A femininity that doesn’t need to be loud to be present. That exists in the way something moves, in the way it flows, in the way it transforms.

Vená is about that balance.

Between strength and softness. Between structure and movement. Between where we come from and where we’re going.

At the end, this collection is really about connection.

To nature. To ourselves. And to the places that shape us.
